We will observe Leftover Day this year on Saturday, from 2 to 6 PM in the garden. Bring your leftovers and tales of turkey and tofurky, and we’ll do our best to keep you warm and ready to sail through holiday season. The weather is supposed to be clear, but better bring your mittens.

We will have a summer pot luck dinner at the garden Saturday June 22. Bring a dish or non-alcoholic beverage, and enjoy some quiet conversation in the garden with fellow gardeners and their guests as we celebrate the day after solstice in our little green oasis on 13th Street from 4PM to 8 PM, June 22.

Come to  our 7th Annual Leftover Day Party. It’s on for Friday, Nov. 23, beginning at 2 PM. On Saturday, October 27, starting at 2 PM, we will be holding our third annual jack-o-lantern carving party in the garden. As in the past, this is a BYOP (bring your own pumpkin) event, and everyone is invited to come and have some pre-Halloween fun creating some spooky masterpiece to take home or leave in the garden for all to enjoy. Joanne will bring along a carving kit, but if anyone else can bring along cutting/carving utensils, that will be very helpful. And of course, you are always welcome to bring along some refreshments for the table to spur on the creative output.So bring the children, bring a pumpkin–looking forward to seeing you!

Bring them along to our third annual Bring Your Own Puppet Day garden party and BBQ!  This year we will be performing a scene from The Curse of the Starving Class by Sam Shepard and everyone is invited to participate. It will be rather informal, so bring yourself, your puppets and your favorite food or beverage Saturday, August 4, from 3 to 7pm, rain or shine.

On Saturday, July 14 from 4 to 8 PM, we will have a summer pot luck in the garden featuring whatever you bring for the picnic table and the barbeque grill. Instrumentalists and poets are welcome, and anyone who wants to contribute to our midsummer merriment.
